India, Aug. 5 -- British featherweight boxer Raven Chapman is recovering after suffering a serious brain injury during a sparring session in Denmark on July 24. The 32-year-old collapsed after training and was airlifted to hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a brain haematoma and cerebral oedema. She underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding and reduce the swelling before being placed in a medically induced coma to support her recovery.
