India, June 11 -- The Trinamool Congress (TMC) is facing fresh political turbulence after Rajya Sabha MP Prakash Chik Baraik resigned from the Upper House, becoming the third party parliamentarian to step down within a week. Baraik stepped down after senior leaders Sukhendu Sekhar Roy and Sushmita Dev quit, further hurting Mamata Banerjee's government in the midst of enhanced worries over the internal stability. Baraik will submit his resignation to Vice President and Rajya Sabha chairman CP Radhakrishnan in a formal manner.
