India, July 7 -- Heavy rain continues to lash several parts of India, triggering floods, landslides and widespread disruption in multiple states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rain alerts for several regions, including a red alert for Mumbai, Thane and Raigad. At least four people have died in rain related incidents, while flights, trains and road traffic have been affected in Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and other states.
