India, April 19 -- India is witnessing a sharp shift in weather conditions as temperatures climb again across plains while rainfall and snowfall return to the hills. According to India Meteorological Department, most parts of the country will remain hot and dry, while Northeast India and Western Himalayas may see rain and snowfall. Delhi recently recorded 19 mm rainfall, the highest April rainfall since 2010, but heat is now returning.
