India, Oct. 3 -- India and West Indies will meet in the third ODI on Saturday, October 3, at 2 PM IST, with India already holding an unassailable 2-0 lead. The hosts produced a stunning chase in Guwahati, hunting down 406 with 39 balls to spare, but the focus now shifts to the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The match will be the first-ever men's ODI at Mullanpur, adding an element of uncertainty around the conditions. The red-soil surface is expected to offer good bounce, while dew later in the evening could make chasing easier. With the series already decided, India could also use the game to assess some of their backup options, while West Indies will be desperate to avoid a clean sweep.
