India, Jan. 27 -- Karthi, who starred alongside Krithi Shetty in the film Vaa Vaathiyaar, which will begin its OTT release after showing in theatres for a short period, allows viewers to watch the Tamil movie from their homes. The film, which was released in cinemas during the Pongal festive window, will now begin its OTT distribution earlier than expected.

Vaa Vaathiyaar will stream on OTT on January 28 2026, just two weeks after the movie was release on theatre release on January 14. The movie will arrive on OTT platforms before its scheduled box-office window because of partial success at theaters combined with high viewer interest in Karthi's special role.
