India, Aug. 18 -- Uttarakhand School Holiday Tomorrow: There is currently no statewide school holiday announced for August 19, 2026. Schools are generally expected to remain open according to their regular schedules unless the concerned District Magistrate or local administration issues a closure order.

The situation remains sensitive because Uttarakhand is experiencing an active monsoon spell. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Heavy Rain and Thunderstorm Warning for Wednesday, with isolated very heavy rainfall possible across the state.
