India, Sept. 28 -- The divine Kedarnath Yatra, which is a part of the Char Dham Yatra is attended by thousands of pilgrims every year. But things recently turned south after a landslide in Rudraprayag's Chirbasa disrupted the trek. Subsequently, authorities safely rescued 1500 pilgrims from the route.

Over 1500 Pilgrims Headed to Kedarnath Rescued After Landslide in Chirbasa

Today, a landslide happened in the Chirbasa area of Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district. As a result, 1500 stranded pilgrims on the trek route were then safely evacuated.
