India, Oct. 2 -- ABERDEEN, Scotland - In a formidable display of allied maritime firepower, the decommissioned US Navy frigate USS Klakring was systematically dismantled and sent to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean during the joint military exercise Atlantic Thunder 2026. Conducted off the rugged coast of Scotland near the Hebrides, the sinking exercise brought together surface, subsurface, and air assets from the US military and the British Armed Forces.
