India, Oct. 26 -- Amy Acton, the Democratic Party's nominee for Ohio's gubernatorial election had a whirlwind week. She received an endorsement from former US President Barack Obama and got to campaign with him. But Acton was also targeted through a vicious ad from Republican opponent Vivek Ramaswamy that featured her estranged mother.

While Ramaswamy faced backlash from both parties for the divisive ad, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance defended it. Now, Acton has urged both of them to 'look at the facts' regarding her abuse.
