India, March 12 -- An explosion in the heart of Dubai has raised fresh concerns about security in the Gulf as the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict spreads across the region. Residents in downtown Dubai reported hearing a loud blast on Thursday in the busy district that houses the world-famous Burj Khalifa and the massive Dubai Mall.

Authorities later confirmed that the incident was linked to a drone and described it as a limited security event. Despite the explosion and visible smoke rising from a residential area, officials said the situation was quickly brought under control, and no casualties were reported.
