India, Aug. 10 -- The Israeli Prison Service recently confirmed the death in custody of 36-year-old Palestinian detainee Ihab Mohammad Abdul Qader Diab from Gaza, who was arrested on December 12, 2023. While the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs stated that officials believe he actually died on September 18, 2024, the death was only acknowledged nearly two years later.
