India, Aug. 8 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has turned ti regional diplomacy as Tehran faces continued pressure from the US and Israel, warning that Washington & Tel Aviv are attempting to drive a wedge between Iran and its Gulf neighbours.

In remarks to Iranian state media television, Pezeshkian presented Muslim unity as an important defence against outside pressure, while insisting that Iran would not accept forced submission. He also defended Tehran's position on the Strait of Hormuz and rejected reports of divisions between the Iranian government and the armed forces.
