India, July 17 -- The Middle East war involving the US, Israel and Iran has entered a more dangerous phase as fresh American airstrikes inside Iran triggered a wave of retaliatory attacks across the Middle East.

Iran claimed it targeted US military bases in Qatar and Syria, while Jordan intercepted three incoming Iranian missiles and explosions were reported in northern Iraq.

The latest developments have expanded the war beyond Iran's borders, increasing concerns over regional stability, US military installations and global energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.
