India, Aug. 23 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has rejected claims that Tehran compromised on any part of its latest MoU, insisting that Iran will pursue dialogue without surrendering its position. His remarks come as tensions with Washington remain high over sanctions, the Strait of Hormuz and the future of US-Iran negotiations.

At the same time, Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei issued a fresh warning over the strategic waterway, saying Hormuz will remain closed until the US changes its behaviour and fulfils its commitments. Tehran has also warned neighbouring countries against joining Washington's economic campaign.
