India, April 1 -- President Donald Trump is making it clear that he expects the world to help fix the unintended damage caused by the US-Israeli war effort as he weighs an exit from the conflict nearly a month after it saw a violent escalation. Trump has taken an increasingly annoyed tone toward Europe's lack of support while giving short shrift to the fact that his decision contributed to disrupting global oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump insists that Iran has been "decimated" even as Tehran has managed to largely choke off the crucial waterway through which about 20% of the world's oil normally passes.
