India, Sept. 5 -- US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: The United States has approved a proposed $5 billion military sale to Saudi Arabia, covering bombs, precision guidance kits, and other defence equipment, as the kingdom faces continuing missile and drone threats amid the escalating regional conflict.

The US State Department said the proposed deal would strengthen Saudi Arabia's airborne defence capabilities, help it counter current and future regional threats, and improve coordination with US forces and other Gulf partners.
