India, Aug. 7 -- The war in the Middle East is continuously increasing the security tensions after an Iraqi government official said Baghdad is preparing a 'final blow' against Iran-backed militias accused of planning attacks beyond Iraq's borders.

The warning came as Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis threatened Saudi forces, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Saudi Arabia for a major defence agreement with Riyadh and Pakistan, and the Saudi-led coalition warned it would respond if Houthi attacks continue to intensify.
