India, Nov. 2 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly pressed US President Donald Trump to launch fresh military strikes against Iran after the November 3 midterm elections, despite Washington's preference to give ongoing diplomatic negotiations more time.

According to a report by Axios, the two leaders discussed the state of negotiations with Tehran and the possibility of resuming military operations during a telephone conversation on Saturday. The report cited one Israeli and one US official familiar with the discussion.
