India, Aug. 24 -- Iran has warned that it could cut off its oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz and other parts of the Persian Gulf if the United States continues imposing economic pressure on Tehran. The warning was issued by Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei as Washington prepares a new package of sanctions aimed at Iran and its international trade partners. Tehran has also cautioned other countries against assisting the US campaign.
