India, Sept. 27 -- Iran has said that diplomatic negotiations are the only way to resolve its ongoing conflict with the United States, after US President Donald Trump rejected a proposal linked to reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran was waiting for an official response from Washington before deciding its next move.
