India, Oct. 6 -- Iranian Major General Ali Abdollahi has warned that Tehran would respond immediately and without limitation to any US action against Iran, whether it takes place before or after the upcoming US congressional elections.

The warning comes amid renewed tensions between Washington and Tehran and concerns over the possibility of another round of military confrontation in the region.
