India, April 15 --  US President Donald Trump has suggested that the conflict with Iran may be approaching its final phase, offering his strongest indication yet that the war could be winding down. He made the remarks during an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday on Mornings with Maria.

When asked directly whether the war was over, Trump did not formally declare an end but indicated that the situation was moving toward resolution.

"I think it's close to over, yeah," he said. "I view it as very close to being over."

His comments come at a time when military and diplomatic tensions remain high across the region, with no fresh breakthrough in negotiations.
