India, May 30 -- In the latest US-Iran development, Tehran has sharply criticised US President Donald Trump for sabotaging diplomatic efforts even as negotiations between the two countries continue over a possible agreement aimed at ending months of heightened tensions. Mohsen Rezaei, a senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader and a close associate of Mojtaba Khamenei, accused Trump of betraying diplomacy for the third time. Rezaei pointed to the continued US naval blockade and what he described as excessive American demands during the talks as evidence that Washington was not genuinely committed to a diplomatic resolution.
