India, Sept. 8 -- The University of Evansville is grieving the death of sophomore women's basketball player Jordan Scott, who died following a crash in Warrick County on Sunday evening. The university described Scott as a cherished member of the Purple Aces community, with teammates, coaches, classmates and friends mourning her sudden loss. "We are heartbroken by Jordan's passing. Jordan was a beloved member of our Purple Aces family, and we are grateful that she chose to share part of her life with us," Vice President for Athletics Dr. Kenneth "Ziggy" Siegfried said, while extending support to Scott's sister and teammate Jayden, their parents, teammates and coaches.
