India, Aug. 25 -- UK Weekend Weather Rain Forecast: Britain is heading toward a much wetter and more unsettled end to August, with the Met Office forecasting heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds across parts of the country. The weather shift will begin in southern areas before spreading northward through the week, with unsettled conditions expected to continue into the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The forecast comes after a summer marked by prolonged heat and drought, making the incoming rainfall particularly significant for drought-hit parts of England.
