India, April 1 -- The US and India maintain diplomatic relations through their 2026 US-India Relations program, which designates Envoy Sergio Gor as its strategic contact point. The US diplomat who serves as the special US envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs works to develop US-India relations. The US and India maintain their military cooperation through combined defence operations, which include military drills and their partnership in the Quad alliance.
