India, Sept. 25 -- Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand will begin their Asian Games 2026 women's doubles campaign against Hong Kong's Lui Lok Lok and Tsang Hiu Yan in the Round of 32 on Friday at Ichinomiya City Municipal Gymnasium, with the Indian pair drawn on Court 2.

Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand were one of India's standout pairs in the women's team event. They produced India's only win in the quarterfinal against Japan, defeating world No. 3 Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto 21-17, 21-16. India, however, lost the overall tie 1-3 and were eliminated from the team event.
