Todd Blanche: Judge Orders US Acting Attorney General To Turn Over Notes From FBI Interview With Trump Accuser
India, Sept. 18 -- A federal judge ruled on Wednesday that Attorney General Todd Blanche must turn over handwritten FBI notes from several interviews conducted with a woman who has accused both US President Donald Trump and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein of sexually abusing her decades ago, when she was a teenager.
US District Judge Emmet Sullivan, a Reagan appointee sitting in Washington, ordered in a 20-page ruling that the Justice Department provide the notes, taken from interviews conducted between July and October 2019, for the court's private review by 11 am ET on 24 September.
Sullivan's order does not yet require the notes to be made public, but instructs the department to submit both redacted and unredacted versions so the ...
