India, Sept. 1 -- New York City was shaken on Monday afternoon when a sudden, unprovoked double stabbing in the heart of Times Square left one victim dead, another hospitalised, and the female assailant shot dead by police. The violent episode unfolded just after 4:20 pm along Seventh Avenue between West 41st and 43rd Streets, a bustling corridor packed with tourists and commuters.
