India, Sept. 23 -- Former Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has surprised football fans with his honesty. Most players who move to Saudi Arabia say they went there for a new challenge or to grow the league. But the Dutch midfielder has openly admitted that he moved purely for the money.

Reijnders left Manchester City in August to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah. In a recent interview, the 28-year-old explained that this deal has sorted out his family finances for generations.
