India, Sept. 28 -- Netflix is bringing another complicated true crime case to the screen with The Widower: 'Til Death Do Us Part, a new documentary about Thomas Randolph, a man whose history of marriages and deaths eventually led investigators to take a much closer look at his past.

Directed by Chris Smith, the filmmaker behind Tiger King, the documentary follows a journalist and a detective as they revisit Randolph's relationships, the deaths of several of his wives and the investigation that eventually focused on him. Produced by Library Films and NBC News Studios, the film promises to dig into the case beyond the headlines and examine the events that kept investigators coming back to Randolph.
