India, Aug. 18 -- Prime Video has unveiled the first look at its upcoming historical drama The Revolutionaries. It offers a glimpse of the real-life freedom fighters portrayed by Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada. Created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, the series is based on Sanjeev Sanyal's bestselling book Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom.

The series is set against the backdrop of India's freedom movement and focuses on four revolutionaries who chose armed resistance against British rule. Prime Video has confirmed that Bhuvan Bam plays Rash Behari Bose, Rohit Saraf portrays Sachindra Nath Sanyal, Pratibha Ranta plays Pratibha Lahiri and Gurfateh Pirzada portrays Bagha Jatin.
