India, July 8 -- Johnny Galecki is officially returning to acting after seven years. The Big Bang Theory star, who famously played Leonard Hofstadter, will make his comeback in Kowalski, a new stage production by Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company.

Instead of returning to television or films, Galecki has chosen the theatre for his first acting project since stepping away from Hollywood. According to Variety, the play will run from September 19 to October 25.
