India, Sept. 25 -- Tata has launched the Aeris in India with prices starting at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The new compact sedan replaces the Tigor and shares its mechanical package with Tata's existing hatchback models.

Buyers can choose between petrol and CNG versions, while both manual and AMT transmissions are available on most variants. However, the entry-level Smart trim has fewer options.
