India, Sept. 24 -- Palaeontologists have unveiled the first recorded trackway of an adult Tyrannosaurus rex, following a remarkable fossil discovery in the rugged badlands of North Dakota. The 66.5-million-year-old sequence, preserved in the fossil-rich Hell Creek Formation, features four massive, three-toed footprints stretching across 23 feet of hardened sandstone.

Published in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, the extraordinary find offers researchers a rare, dynamic snapshot of the prehistoric apex predator in motion, capturing behavioural evidence that skeletal remains cannot independently provide.
