India, Aug. 27 -- Stock Market Holiday Tomorrow (August 28): For many Indians, Friday, August 28, will be a day of Rakhi ceremonies, family gatherings and festive celebrations. But for investors, the day will look much like any other trading session. The NSE and BSE will remain open on Raksha Bandhan, allowing equity and derivatives trading to continue as scheduled.

The MCX will also operate normally, meaning the festival will not bring a pause to India's financial markets.
