India, July 22 -- Brand New Day is shaping up to be one of the biggest Hollywood releases in India in recent years. More than a week before hitting theatres, the Marvel film has already started a massive advance booking rush which has put it on track for a record breaking debut at the Indian box office.

According to Sacnilk, trade estimates currently place the film's opening day collection between Rs 50 crore and Rs 60 crore gross in India. If those projections become reality, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will register one of the biggest opening days ever for an international release in the country.
