India, July 19 -- Activist Sonam Wangchuk remains admitted to Safdarjung Hospital on Sunday after being shifted from Jantar Mantar a day earlier. The hospital said his condition is stable, but some of his blood test results remain slightly abnormal because of his prolonged hunger strike. However, his wife, Gitanjali J Angmo, has questioned the hospital's treatment and claimed there are differences between the hospital's potassium test and an independent lab report. She has also alleged that Wangchuk is being kept under illegal detention due to the heavy police presence at the hospital.
