India, Sept. 20 -- SNL Season 52 is set to premiere on September 26 with Jalen Brunson hosting as the comedy series welcomes two new cast members and brings back most of its Season 51 ensemble

The countdown to Saturday Night Live Season 52 has begun. The long running NBC sketch comedy series is returning for another season on September 26 with New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson set to host the premiere.

While SNL went through a significant cast shakeup ahead of its previous season, Season 52 will see a comparatively stable ensemble. Most of the Season 51 cast members are returning,

But the new season will also introduce two fresh faces to Studio 8H, while three performers from the previous cast will not be returning.
