India, July 31 -- Assets managed by Leopold Aschenbrenner's high-flying artificial-intelligence hedge fund, Situational Awareness, have plummeted to approximately $10 billion, according to emerging financial reports. The slump was reportedly witnessed following steep market losses that triggered an urgent unwind of its concentrated public equity positions.

The severe contraction marks a staggering reversal for a vehicle that had previously soared on the back of aggressive artificial intelligence infrastructure bets. Market volatility and a sharp July tech rout heavily penalised the fund's long positions, forcing leadership to scramble for liquidity and engage external buyers to manage mounting financial pressures.
