India, June 8 -- Shraddha Kapoor's much-awaited film Eetha finally has an official release date. Based on Vithabai Narayangaonkar, one of Marathi folk theatre's most respected names, the film is set to arrive in cinemas on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan, as confirmed by trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh in his recent X post.

Adarsh wrote, "DINESH VIJAN - LAXMAN UTEKAR REUNITE: SHRADDHA KAPOOR STARS IN 'EETHA' - RELEASE DATE LOCKED.
