India, Aug. 3 -- The holy month of Sawan (Shravan) is one of the most sacred times within the Hindu calendar, when people worship Lord Shiva. On every Monday in this month, known as Sawan Somwar, the significance is huge in terms of spirituality. People all over India fast and pray according to their customs on that day.
