India, July 2 -- Russia-Ukraine War Latest News: The Russia-Ukraine war has entered another deadly phase after Russia launched one of its largest overnight missile and drone attacks on Kyiv, killing at least 17 civilians and injuring more than 90 others. The assault, carried out in the early hours of Thursday, targeted Ukraine's capital and several other regions as Moscow claimed it was retaliating against Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil facilities.

As rescue teams searched through damaged residential buildings, Ukraine accused Russia of deliberately targeting civilian areas and once again appealed to its allies for stronger air defence support.
