India, June 16 -- The renowned Royal Ascot horse racing event 2026 is due to start on Tuesday, June 16, at the legendary Ascot Racecourse in the county of Berkshire, England. One of the best horse racing events held in the world, the event comprises 35 races over five days, out of which eight races are the highly acclaimed group 1 races, in which there will be prize money worth Rs.135 crore to be won.

On the first day, the Queen Anne Stakes, which is the opener in the festival, will take place. The race is one of the group 1 races, carrying a total purse of £800,000, which is equal to Rs.10.14 crore. The winner of the race will take home Rs.5.75 crore.
