India, Aug. 24 -- Reform UK has set out a policy that would place British-born married couples under 35 with children at the very top of the social housing waiting list, while stripping many long-term foreign-born residents, including NHS staff, of their existing tenancies within six months.

Under the party's "Prioritising UK Citizens" policy, new social housing tenancies would be closed off entirely to foreign nationals, and existing tenancies would be terminated for couples where neither partner holds UK, Irish or EU citizenship.
