India, Aug. 6 -- Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 17 5G in India, expanding its popular Note series with a smartphone that focuses on battery life, display quality and long-term software support.

The new handset arrives with an 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and Xiaomi's latest HyperOS based on Android 16.

Available in two storage variants, the Redmi Note 17 5G also comes with launch offers that reduce its effective starting price below 25,000, making it one of the company's most competitive mid-range smartphones.
