India, Sept. 16 -- Reacher Season 5 is officially happening and Alan Ritchson is already back in action. Prime Video renewed the hit series for a fifth season in May 2026, months before Season 4 premiered. Production on the new season subsequently began in Ontario, Canada, with cameras rolling from July 20.

The fifth season will adapt Lee Child's Make Me, the author's 20th Jack Reacher novel. Ritchson will return as the former military investigator, with Amanda Ip and Jay Baruchel also joining the cast in key roles.
