India, May 23 -- Politics always has a surprising way of rewarding timing. Mere weeks after resigning from Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has been given a major parliamentary responsibility, showing this time BJP is not only embracing him but also placing faith in him in the run up to an important political war, particularly in Punjab. Chadha is now appointed as Chairman of Rajya Sabha's Committee on Petitions, an important parliamentary panel that examines public grievances and petitions submitted to the Upper House. This appointment came after Rajya Sabha Chairman C. P. Radhakrishnan reconstituted the committee with effect from May 20.
