India, May 21 -- The reported killing of Hamza Burhan in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has reignited debate around a growing pattern of mysterious assassinations targeting wanted extremists across Pakistan. Burhan, linked to the 2019 Pulwama terror attack that killed more than 40 CRPF personnel, was reportedly shot dead in Muzaffarabad by unidentified attackers and the incident has once again brought the phrase "unknown gunmen" into public focus.
